Investigation of the dyeing properties of the colorant extracted from Juglans regia L. leaves on cellulosic and protein fabrics

چکیده
Dyeing properties of different fabric species were investigated using leaf extract Juglans regia L. For this purpose, the cotton and wool fabrics dyed brown napthaquinon colorant extracted from walnut leaves by pre-mordanting, meta-mordanting post-mordanting methods in presence copper sulfate (CuSO4.5H2O), ferrous (FeSO4.7H2O) alum (AIK(SO4)2.12H2O) at medium pH. Color codes determined with Pantone Guide, K/S L* a* b* values color measurement spectrophotometer, also washing-, crocking-fastness levels evaluated gray scale. High fastness colors obtained general present study.
